Uniform

What To Wear

During our weekly meetings, each of our members should wear their section appropriate jumper (Beavers and Cubs) or shirt (for Scouts), plus the group’s “necker” (scarf). Typically our members will wear a more casual bottom half for comfort.

For special occasions – like an award ceremony, a parade or other public event – navy trousers and black shoes should be worn if possible.

For each section there are lots of optional accessories you can wear such as hats/caps, hoodies, belts and more.

Why Is Scout Uniform Important?

Wearing a uniform is comfy and practical. It means no one feels uncomfortable or left out and helps everyone feel part of the Section. It also provides a place to show off all the badges you earn.

Necker

Each Scout Group has an individual “necker”, or scarf. The colours of The Bratch Scouts Group’s “necker” are half gold with a maroon border, and half khaki with a green border.

The necker will be given to the members (along with a woggle) when they are invested into the group.

Where Can I Get Scout Uniform?

Uniform can be purchased from The Scout Shop, among other stockists.
